Partner, Deals, PwC Canada
John Matheson is a Partner in PwC’s Deals practice, based in Toronto. He brings over 20 years of experience in assisting clients to evaluate transactions and drive transformational change within their businesses. He has helped clients with over US$180 billion in transactions across 50 countries.
John is also a member of PwC’s National Deals Leadership Group and leads delivery model transformation across all Deals competencies. This includes driving how PwC is revolutionizing client service delivery through the use of global acceleration centres and the adoption of leading edge technology.
His career with PwC includes three years in the London office of PwC UK and five years in the Beijing office of PwC China.
John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, graduating on the Dean’s List. He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and placed in the top 2% of thousands of candidates on the 2005 Uniform Examination, achieving “Honour Roll” status.
