Building the North: A Blueprint for Canadian Prosperity in the Digital Age

The internet is an incredible platform for growth. It lowers the barriers for building a business while offering global scale to even the smallest enterprise. But Canada has only just begun to leverage the true opportunity of the open web. On the cusp of Google’s 20th anniversary, join Sabrina Geremia, Country Manager for Google Canada, as she unfolds a blueprint for Canadian prosperity in the digital age.

Sabrina leads a team dedicated to driving innovation and business results at Canada’s largest companies, building digital solutions that solve business problems for today and tomorrow. She has worked on digital transformation across Financial Services, Automotive, Media & Entertainment, Travel, Government and Consumer Packaged goods sectors.

A trusted advisor to Canada’s C-Suite and an eleven year veteran at Google, Sabrina’s insights are based on 22 years of international marketing/PR, technology sales and general management experience at Procter & Gamble (Italy), Reckitt Benckiser (global), Ask Jeeves (UK), a mobile startup called Incirco (UK) and Google (UK & Canada).

Sabrina is a board member of the Ryerson DMZ, North America’s top University Start-Up Incubator and served on the board of the Canadian Marketing Association. She is an advisor on the City of Toronto Innovation Economy Advisory Council and Move the Dial, an initiative to encourage more women in tech.

Recognized by the Women’s Executive Council (WXN) as one of Canada’s top 100 most powerful women in 2015 and recipient of the 2014 Women in Communication Technology Diversity award, Sabrina’s personal mission is to inspire girls and women with the potential of technology.
