With an increasing customer base and decreasing, or flat-lined, budgets, Toronto’s public services, including the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and Toronto Community Housing (TCH), are faced with the challenge of continuing to provide high quality customer service to a growing population – all within a challenging fiscal environment.

Over the last two years the TTC and TCH appointed new leadership—both Andy Byford of the TTC and Eugene E. Jones, Jr. of TCH are new to Toronto and have brought with them international perspectives and experiences to these organizations. What are these organizations doing to improve and innovate their services? How are they modernizing the customer experience? How are their leaders’ experiences in other cities influencing innovation in Toronto?

On Monday, June 3, join TTC CEO Andy Byford and TCH President & CEO Eugene Jones Jr., in conversation with Royson James, as they share their insights for the future of public services in Toronto and what their respective organizations are doing to initiate change.
