My vision for Toronto - and how Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment is helping

Toronto is facing an important decision on October 25th. Who will be the bold visionary that will successfully take Toronto deep into the new century?

Please join us on Wednesday, September 15th when Richard Peddie, President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment discusses his vision for Toronto and how Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) is prepared to help the new Mayor and Council be city builders.

Richard Peddie’s company vision is clear – WIN. Accordingly, the company’s core values that support MLSE’s vision are: Excite Every Fan, Inspire Our People, be Dedicated To Our Teams, and be Leaders In Our Community.

It is the personal practice of MLSE’s vision and value to WIN and be a leader in the community that has enabled Peddie to continually place his mark on the North American professional sports and entertainment scene. Under his leadership, MLSE has expanded its growth and reach to become one of the premier sports and entertainment companies in the world. In Toronto, MLSE has demonstrated how a private sector company can become a city builder by making a meaningful contribution that supports developing vibrant, safe and economically-viable neighbourhoods.

In his 12th year as President and Chief Executive Officer of MLSE, Peddie oversees all business operations related to the Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC, Marlies, Air Canada Centre, BMO Field, Ricoh Coliseum, the organization’s three digital television channels, and the $500 million sports and entertainment development known as Maple Leaf Square. On July 1, 2003 he was appointed to the Board of Directors for MLSE.
