Nikki Holland

Vice President Stakeholder Relations, OMERS

Nikki Holland is the Vice President Stakeholder Relations at OMERS.

Prior to joining OMERS, Nikki was Director of Public Affairs, Carpenters’ District Council, Ontario (CDC). As the public voice of the Council, she was responsible for all government relations and communications and also for public affairs.

 Before joining the CDC, Nikki was the Vice President, Public Affairs at Invest Toronto, Toronto’s foreign direct investment marketing and sales corporation. In her role there, Nikki continually strived to build relationships with businesses and stakeholders in order to ensure that Toronto remained the premiere business destination for companies to invest and locate.

 As the Manager of Government Relations at the Insurance Bureau of Canada, Nikki acted as the primary executive working on behalf of Ontario’s property and casualty insurers to influence and assist the government in making regulatory changes beneficial to association members and Ontarians. In addition to her private sector experience, Nikki also has significant government and political experience. She spent nearly ten years working in the Ontario Government and Legislature.

Nikki is a Toronto native and is an active member of the Jewish Community. She graduated CHAT and spent a year abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Kibbutz Sa’ad in the Negev. She staffed several Birthright trips and a Biluim Israel Trip and can converse well in Hebrew. In her free time, Nikki is busy being a mom to her son Lex, who attends Associated Hebrew Schools (her alma mater). She is a member of Adath Israel and is involved in a variety of committees and boards.
