MICHAEL (PINBALL) CLEMONS
Head Coach, Toronto Argonauts
The Argos Are Back and so is the CFL
Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Concert Hall
In July, 2003, the Toronto Argonauts were on the verge of bankruptcy. In November 2004, with new owners and a new lease on life, The Toronto Argonauts won the Grey Cup 27-19 over the BC Lions. This win served as the icing on the cake to what can only be described as a storybook year for the Toronto franchise and, according to CFL Commissioner Tom Wright, "a banner year for the CFL."
What explains this dramatic turnaround for one of the league's most important franchises and for the league itself? Find out on December 13th, when Argos Head Coach, Mike (Pinball) Clemons joins us to talk about this dramatic season, including his first Grey Cup win as a Head Coach, the exciting turnaround in the Argos organization and why 2004 was such a banner year for the whole CFL.
