Flora will be presented with Equal Voice’s EVE Award, recognizing her pioneering efforts for women in politics, not only as an MP and Cabinet Minister, but for capturing the imagination of women across the country, when she stepped forward to run for the leadership of her party in 1976. Flora’s speech will reflect on her own career in politics and more broadly on the topic of women in public life.
